April Sweater   1 comment

Here’s my latest finished knitting item – appropriately named the April Sweater since it was the group knit project at my favorite yarn shop, She’s Crafty.    March 1 - May 22 153 That stats:

Yarn:  Noro Silk Garden Sock Yarn, 45% silk, 25% wool, 20% rayon, 10% kid mohair.  I used most of 2 skeins – approximately 630 yards.

Needles:  6 and 8

Time to knit:  5 weeks

Pattern info:  Anna at She’s Crafty rewrote the pattern so I was able to knit the front and back all in one until the sleeves.  Pattern was easy and fun to do.

In the next few weeks, Anna will have sweaters on display and customers can vote on their favorites – $1 per vote.  Each person who displays a sweater will get to name her favorite charity and the winner will have a donation made in their name to that charity.

How fun is that?

I’m already into my next project – can’t tell what it is because it’s a birthday gift for a family member!  I’ll post a photo when he/she receives the gift.

  1. Now if I could only get over there during a lunch hour (from Branson!) I’d vote for you…
