Just an FYI to my one or two adoring fans (Hi Vickie!).
Our laptop is sick and giving us an error message that it can’t find the hard drive disk – a message that son-in-law Steve confirmed is not one we want to see. It goes to Laptop Urgent Care tomorrow.
In the meantime, our desktop is chronically ill. I’m on speed dial with Ephraiman (Effie) from Dell but our Internet connection seems to disconnect at some mysterious whim. For some reason, we can still get our Outlook Express but can’t rely on the Internet connection. Since we’ve been getting that regularly through the laptop, we don’t think it’s an AT&T problem.
So – if you miss my drivel for a few days, it will be because I’m PC-less.
Women of Substance meet Tuesday night – I’ll let my computer people know the urgency of sharing our scintillating thoughts with the public as quickly as possible.
Until then, I always have the iPhone although it’s tough to post to the blog from it.
