I doubt there is anyone in the US who doesn’t know that President Obama stuck his foot in a heap of crap on the “Tonight” show when he compared his bowling score with kids from Special Olympics.
Sure, he apologized to the head of that national organization – but remember how vehemently Mr. Obama reacted when Don Imus made an insensitive comment about African-Americans a couple of years ago?
The press joined in with that chant to boot Imus – and now they are practically giving Mr. Obama a free pass for his “little slip of the tongue.” How about some unbiased reporting for a change?
Neither Don Imus or President Obama were correct in their stupid statements – they were rude and crude. But we expected as much from Don Imus – that was his schtick in radio.
I feel as an American I have the right to expect better of our leader. And how does he have time to be on a TV talk show when Washington is drowing in AIG bonuses – of which he “knew nothing”. Yeah right – just like he “forgot” about the huge campaign contributions AIG gave him last year.
Paybacks are tough – but apparently alive and well with AIG and Mr. Obama.
