I’m an admitted statistics freak – even when I don’t try to be, I am. Which means that a few times a week I check the stats on my blog to see how many hits I get daily, what posts are the most popular and what terms people use to find my blog.
Usually I rock along with anywhere from 45-60 hits a day – but for some reason, yesterday (1/23/09) I got 102 hits. What’s up with that? And I hadn’t even posted anything new all week. I couldn’t even find anything remarkable about the search terms or which posts people read.
Strange indeed! But to my adoring fans – and any new ones who are reading – thanks for boosting my blog spirits.
The morning light brought evidence that the ugly blue-green walls (they were so ugly they don’t deserve to be called turquoise) that I painted yellow need a 3rd coat of paint. It’s not how I wanted to spend my afternoon but I know if I don’t, I’ll regret it. And since Burl tells me we will NEVER in our lifetime paint these rooms again, I’d better do it right.
Little does he know………..I plan to live another 50 years just to annoy my kids!
