Each week our local newspaper, irreverently nicknamed The Snooze MisLeader, features a Home of the Week complete with photos and information about the home and owners.
I’m certainly no interior designer but most weeks I want to barf at the offerings – too much “stuff” in the way of collections (Santas, Coke products, John Deere, favorite sports team – you get the picture) or something that is way beyond the scope of most readers – or just butt ugly!
So when Tammy and Steve moved to their new home this fall, I told Tammy that as soon as they were finished decorating, I was going to suggest their house as the Home of the Week. Open the local paper this coming Sunday and you will see a 2-page spread devoted to their home!

There’s even a great photo of Tammy included – too bad Steve was at that pesky day job that pays the mortgage!
The home truly embodies both of them and I now find it hard to remember their old home where they lived for over 10 years!
