It’s the blogiversary of Shifting Gears which is now a Terrible Two in toddler-world. In keeping with my obsessive statistical nature here’s the rundown for the last year:
- A total of 242 posts
- An average of one post ever 1.51 days although there were some days when there were multiple posts
- Or put another way, I posted 66.1% of the days on average
- There have been 275 comments in the last two years – or any average of .676 comments per post
- The post that received the most comments was “Friendly Curmudgeon” on May 7, 2008
- I’ve learned how to upload photos and even get more creative on my home page – without too many support calls to Steve.
Okay, enough of the numbers crap for today! We are back in Phoenix, watching the delayed game between the Cardinals and Falcons since Mike had to leave to go the hospital earlier this afternoon.
We spent the bulk of yesterday at Balboa Park exploring the Sports Museum and San Diego Historical Museum but thanks to clouds and fog, there weren’t a lot of photo opportunities. We passed on the zoo since it was cool and windy plus Stacey had stayed home to work on a PowerPoint presentation she has to give in Chicago on Monday.
We figure we always have to leave something to see on our return trip! Plus we met some people in one of the museums who raved to us about the little town of Julian so next trip, we’ll definitely stop there enroute between Phoenix and San Diego.
Just in case you’re wondering if the Pacific Ocean is still there, here’s a shot of Stacey and Alex on New Year’s Day.
I’d love to say they got their great looks from me but since I married into the family, I guess I can’t use that line.
In case you’re wondering, the snowflakes on the home site page will be gone tomorrow – just in time for us to probably see some real live snow on our way home.
