I’ve barely gotten used to Life 2.0 when the current edition of Newsweek has a major story on The Search for Longevity with a subtitle of Geezer 2.0! The subjects in this article are all 85+ so it appears all I have to do is eat healthy, exercise, keep my cholesterol, weight and blood pressure in stellar ranges and in 20+ years, I too can upgrade to Geezer 2.0!
Note to my daughter – NO I AM NOT THERE YET!!! But if I’m going to live to a ripe old age, I want to be healthy and end up winning 5K races even if I’m the only one who enters in my age bracket. My high school friend Sally’s mother is 100 and still doing quite well – what an inspiration she is.
Given my goal-oriented nature, it’s nice to know that there is a category beyond Life 2.0 that’s not related to the afterlife.
