The majority of my Christmas shopping has been by Internet or at non-mall places like Target. However, today I stupidly chose to darken the doors of the mall to pick up a couple of gift certificates and try to redeem some special coupons I had received.
I got one of the gift certificates, decided the other one wasn’t worth waiting in a long line with only one register open (operated by a 6th-grade drop out,I suspect), used one coupon and ditched the other. Came home.
The bargains are there, the shoppers are there, customer service stayed home and so will I. Looks like it’s back to Target, Best Buy or the Internet for the rest of my shopping.
I think I’ll go read.
