1. Were you named after anyone? For about an hour my legal name was Julia Ann but then my dad realized there would be two in the house named Julia so it got changed to Ann Louise. Louise was my mother’s middle name and I passed it on to Tammy. My birth certificate doesn’t have an “e” on Anne – I added that myself when I was about 13.
2. When was the last time you cried? Yesterday morning when I heard that my friend Vickie’s father had died. I met him several weeks ago and he was such a neat man. My heart goes out to Vickie, her mom and the rest of her family.
3. Do you like your handwriting? It’s okay but I don’t think it’s that distinctive. I type so much these days that sometimes I just don’t enjoy cursive writing.
4. What is your favorite lunch meat? Turkey breast
5. Do you have kids? Two wonderful daughters to whom I gave birth – plus 2 more wonderful daughters and an equally wonderful son who came with my hubby.
6. If you were another person would you be friends with you? Sure would – I think I’m fun most of the time.
7. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Well DUH – how about constantly?
8. Do you still have your tonsils? Yes.
9. Would you bungee jump? No thanks – the older I get, the more easily I can say “no”
10. What is your favorite cereal? Granola – but I rarely eat it because it has too much fat and calories.
12. Do you think you are strong? Physically I’m probably average for my age – mentally I think I’m above average.
13. What is your favorite ice cream? Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
14. What is the first thing you notice about people? Usually how they are dressed – but physically I look at their eyes.
16. What is the least favorite thing about yourself? That I’m so anal.
17. Whom do you miss the most? My parents and my sister – but I hope to see them in another life.

19. What color pants and shoes are you wearing? Navy/green/white plaid flannel pj pants and sheepskin slippers.
20. What was the last thing you ate? Too much food at Tammy and Steve’s open house. The last bite I had was a yummy cake she made – she even toasted the pecans before she added them to the mix. Great idea!
21. What are you listening to right now? The sound of the TV from our den
22. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? RED
23. Favorite smells? Hazelnut coffee, baby powder, chocolate chip cookies hot out of the oven.
24. Who was the last person you talked to on the phone? Daughter Cindy
25. Do you like the person who sent this to you? I stole it off a blog I read.
26. Favorite sports to watch? Football and golf
27. Hair color? Brown with blond highlights – at least that’s the color after I leave my hairdresser’s!
28. Eye color? Hazel
29. Do you wear contacts? Nope – too much astigmatism to get good vision from them.
30. Favorite food? Sushi, pizza, Mexican, cheeseburgers
31. Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings definitely.
32. Last movie you watched? Brideshead Revisited
33. What color shirt are you wearing? Navy – sweatshirt that says “New Hampshire – Live Free or Die”
34. Summer or winter? Summer.
35. Hugs or kisses? Both.
36. Favorite dessert? Anything with tons of dark chocolate in it.
37. Hot or cold beverages? Depends on the time of day – definitely hot in the morning – then cold the rest of the day.
38. Favorite room in your house? Our outside deck
39. What book are you reading now? “On Account of Conspicuous Women” – but I haven’t decided if I’m going to finish it or not. Getting ready to read “King’s Row” while on vacation.
40. What is on your mouse pad? A “Pearls Before Swine” cartoon that I absolutely love – Tammy had it made into a mouse pad for me.
41. What did you watch on TV last night? Nothing – I rarely watch TV.
42. Favorite sound? My grandkids
43. Rolling Stones or Beatles? Rolling Stones – I think Mick Jagger is still hot.
44. What is the farthest you have been from home? Thailand or Okinawa – I think they were both 14 time zones from here.
45. Do you have a special talent? Not sure what “special” means – there are things I’m good at doing like math and numerical analysis – I’m also good at annoying my kids – does that count?
46. Where were you born? Callaway Memorial Hopsital – Fulton, MO
47. Least favorite household chore? Dusting
48. Most precious object on your computer desk? The computer
49. A special possession? My wedding band which my mother wore for 58 years before I got it – also I have a diamond ring that originally belonged to my grandmother. My best possessions aren’t things though – they are my family and friends.
