Anne’s 101 in 1001 List for Life 2.0

I’ve finished my list of 101 Things to do in 1001 Days and here it is!  I thought about organizing my list by categories but then decided nope, I prefer the randomness of my thoughts!  Here goes!

1.      Reach my WW goal weight  9/18/08

2.      Maintain my WW goal weight for 1001 days

3.      Read 101 books (0/101)

4.      Knit a pair of socks on circular needles

5.      Learn sign language

6.      Achieve the Presidential Citation for my Rotary club

7.      Maintain Perfect Attendance at Rotary

8.      Redecorate 2 rooms in my house (0/2)

9.      Sell something on eBay

10.  Recycle

11.  Use my own market bags regularly

12.  Say a prayer of thanks every day

13.  Pay for the person behind me in the drive-through

14.  Send a card to a friend “for no reason” 12 times (0/12)

15.  Take a Pilates class

16.  Organize my WW recipes

17.  Try one new recipe every month (0/33)

18.  Turn 65

19.  Have a professional bra fitting

20.  Knit 6 items for charity (0/6)

21.  Do one good deed every month (anonymously) (0/33)

22.  Go to Alaska

23.  Take a cruise with Burl – preferably in the Mediterranean

24.  Rent and ride a motorcycle in a foreign country

25.  Have a “working” volunteer job – not one where I serve on a board or have to go to meetings

26.  Thank a veteran for their service

27.  Assist with the Wednesday night dinners at church

28.  Teach someone how to knit

29.  Participate in a medical mission trip

30.  See a play on Broadway in New York City

31.  Volunteer in a soup kitchen

32.  Grow a vegetable garden

33.  Play 6 rounds of golf with Burl (0/6)

34.  Ride 1001 commuter miles on my bike instead of driving (0/1001)

35.  Post to my blog 101 times a year (0/280)

36.  Set aside $1 a day for 1001 days

37.  Donate the $1001 from #36 to a good cause

38.  Clean out my closets and donate clothing I no longer wear

44.  Use a spiritual gift that I’m not currently using

45.  Attend a class reunion

49.  Shoot par on one hole of golf

50.  Be less selfish

66.  Be less critical of myself and more accepting of who I am

67.  Write a letter to the editor

68.  Complete the bicycle cross stitch I bought on eBay

69.  Try 5 new wines (0/5)

70.  Apply to be on the Greene County Library Board

71.  Apply to be on the News-Leader editorial board

72.  Try 6 new-to-me non-chain restaurants (0/6)

73.  Host a fondue party

74.  Find a new dermatologist

100.  Start a new 101 in 1001 list

101.Celebrate day 1001

 

I “cheated” since I recently accomplished my #1 goal but I wanted to leave it on the list to remind me how important it is.

 

Today is Day #1 – Sunday, September 21, 2008.  Day #1001 is Sunday, June 19, 2011.  See you then…………..
