This evening I was pleased to attend the celebration of 25 years for Big Brother Big Sisters of the Ozarks – especially since dear friend Robin (shown here with hubby Jim) received the first ever Irvin Westheimer Impact Award for her extraordinary service and dedication to the local chapter. It was even more fun because she had no idea she was going to be named the recipient.
It was a well-deserved honor for Robin who is one of those selfless people who is always thinking of others and has given a lot of time and effort to our community – not only through BBBS but also Rotary and Leadership Springfield.
Best of all, Robin is a Woman of Substance! That in itself should be sufficient to garner honors her way. She was also quite stylin’ in a great outfit but then she always is a well-dressed gal with a killer smile.
Congrats Robin – you do us proud!
