The decision is made – I’m biting the bullet and choosing the iPhone over a Crackberry. After 4 years of being tethered to the B’berry I’ve done my research and decided the iPhone will suit my needs better in Life 2.0. I won’t need to answer the ubiquitous emails from work when I’m not there but I definitely will enjoy the iPhone features of Internet connectivity and also the camera. And I’ll still have my email too!
Good friends Norb and Ann, who are techno-challenged, are using their iPhone to send pictures of their coast-to-coast bike trip and Norb assures me that if he can set up the iPhone, anyone can do it! Son-in-law Steve, our family geek-in-charge, has also done a good job of extolling the virtues of the iPhone so now all I have to do is get the official letter from my employer releasing my cell phone number so I can take it with me. One more thing almost gone from the “To Do Before Life 2.0 Officially Begins” list!
