It’s official – I’m 100% on overload with the 2008 presidential election. When I blegged for topics a few weeks ago, one of the suggestions I received was to discuss the election – more specificially the possibility of a Madame President. While I would really like to see a female in our top position, I don’t want a female just for the sake of having a female president – and I definitely am NOT a fan of Hillary Clinton. On her own she has potential – but she has baggage by the name of Bill who will always be with her which means if she is the candidate, I will once again be forced to vote for the lesser of two evils.
Which once again begs the question – how come we get 50 choices for Miss America and only 2 for president?
It’s going to be a very long summer and fall with 6+ months to go until November 4th. I’m blegging again for a non-political topic please!
How about some biking posts? Your fav places to ride around Spfd? Special gear that is indispensible? How the heck to change a tire?
