Blegging for Aptonyms   1 comment

Just found a new word in one of my favorite sites, “Freakenomics” – it’s “aptonym” which means a name that also describes what you do.  Historically many surnames were aptonyms like Taylor, Tanner and Smith but they are rare in our culture.  In fact, many aptonyms are flukes because when a baby is named, the parents have no foresight about their child’s career path.

So here’s your challenge – think of an aptonym and leave it in the comment section.
