It’s Super Tuesday and I urge everyone to exercise your right to vote – a privilege that is not guaranteed to everyone in our world. We voted early this morning and opted to vote “for” a candidate instead of strategizing on someone we think may later be beatable – just couldn’t in good conscience ask for that ballot much less connect the lines on that particular name.
Hopefully the computer-generated political calls will decrease until next fall along with the TV ads. I can only hope that no one votes today based on the lies and fiction that are the hallmark of these ads – come on, 35 years of “public service” from one candidate, the ability to “change our country” from most of them! The president can’t do it all – which can be good or bad for our country – he/she will need lots of support from Congress to make any changes and I can only hope for gridlock when all is said and done. The less Washington does, the better it usually is for our country – and it saves us $ in the long run! I sure don’t want anything to impact that stream of Social Security $!!
