We’re flying out in the morning to Phoenix to meet new grandson Devin, see his parents and enjoy a week in warmer climes. Tonight has been a flurry of activity – hit the gym, came home and finished off leftovers in the fridge, did laundry, packed – all those little last-minute details that go into vacation. Mulligan has been following us around all evening and I’m sure he knows something is going on – he just doesn’t know what yet and the full affect of us leaving won’t sink in until bedtime tomorrow night. Poor puppy!
Thanks to those who have commented on Life 2.0 – it’s nice to get feedback from my creative friends. My boss is calling my last few months on the job my Bell Lap – that final part of a race when you give it your best effort and work harder than you have up to that point – and so far, that’s proving to be true at the office. However, Bell Lap sounds a little final when applied to my life! Tammy has suggested Second Wind and that certainly has merit. Keep those ideas flowing my way and I’ll send updates from sunny Arizona.
Now it’s time to put another coat of polish on my toes – they may actually see daylight next week!
