Thought I’d see if I can blog via my trusty b’berry so here goes! After 400 plus safe miles today we are now at a lovely B and B in Charlevoix Mi located on Lake MI in the northwest part of the state.
The drive today was beautiful – lots of fall color and tall pine trees – sunny skies and plenty of golf course and snowmobile trail sitings for Burl.
After we arrived we enjoyed a glass of wine with some cheese on the wide front porch. Then we took off on the bike to explore the place. Ended up at a beach on Lake MI where we took a long walk and then sat on the sand and watched the sunset.
Looks like it may rain tomorrow so we may take a day off from touring and just veg. We’ll decide that in the morning.

Good job blogging from your “crackberry.” I’m jealous you’re seeing fall colors since it’s probably going to be a brown fall here. Sounds like you’re having a relaxing time. Enjoy!
