Shifting Gears

I found the perfect antidote to winter and cold weather – we just booked flights to Phoenix for the 3rd week of February.  We’ll visit family and hike the Grand Canyon – we’ve known we were going but just getting the travel arrangements made makes it seem more real.   As I sat here and shopped with my mouse I asked Burl if he remembered the “old days” when we either had to talk to a person on the phone or (gasp!) go to a travel agent to book a trip.  These days if I can’t buy it online, it may not get purchased!  Now I must make sure I can fit in my shorts from last year and start thinking about “tan in a bottle” so I won’t blind everyone in Arizona with my white legs.  Great incentive to change my dietary habits back to something healthier too!
